The season is coming… and skwal has never felt more alive!

September is here. The days are getting shorter, the mountain tops will soon start turning white and, inevitably, the craving for snow is coming back stronger than ever!

We still have a little while to wait before going on our skwals again and rediscovering the sensations we have been missing since spring… But this September is already bringing some excellent news: Thias Skwal is preparing several new products for the coming season!

And for the whole Skwal Riders community, that is particularly exciting. Because beyond the products themselves, it shows one thing very clearly: skwal is alive, evolving, and continuing to attract new riders.

A new board, Z55, to bring skwal to even more riders

One of the most exciting announcements is a new version of the Z155.

A few years ago, this board played an important role in the development of free skwal by offering a more accessible, easier-to-handle approach that opened the sport up to a much wider audience.

Seeing the Z155 evolve and return today in a new version, the Z55, is therefore especially encouraging.

Because the future of skwal also depends on boards like this: boards that allow more skiers and snowboarders to discover our sport easily, make their first turns quickly… and, hopefully, become part of the Skwal Riders community themselves!

Gliders: always looking for more angle!

Another new product that should appeal to carving enthusiasts: the Gliders.

These handles have been designed to support riders during deep carving and high-angle turns. Their sliding surface allows you to place your hand on the snow, use it for support and follow the turn, with several possible hand positions depending on snow quality and hardness.

A new accessory that should give a few ideas to those who are always looking for even more angle! And although we will obviously be looking at them through the eyes of skwal riders, they can also be used for skiing, monoskiing and telemark.

And even chestnut ski poles!

A completely different concept comes with another new product: ski poles made from chestnut wood.

Wood, beautiful finishing and several choices of grips and baskets… An original way of combining tradition, elegance and the pleasure of skiing.

At a time when much of the equipment on the market tends to look increasingly similar, it is particularly refreshing to see a product with real character and personality.

A community that keeps growing

A new board, new accessories, new ideas…

For a sport as unique as ours, seeing all these new products appear ahead of a new season is a fantastic sign of vitality.

Skwal may still be a small world, and that is also part of what makes it special. But it is a world that continues to innovate, reinvent itself and, above all, welcome new riders every season.

And if this new Z55 helps a few more skiers discover their first skwal sensations tomorrow, before eventually joining us for a session, then that may well be the best news of all this September.

The 2026–2027 season is getting closer… and we already really, really can’t wait!

See you on the slopes! ❄️
